Please consider volunteering with CCC to help immigrants on their path to citizenship.  You don't need to be a civics expert or a professional teacher.  A little compassion goes a long way.  We have volunteer opportunities for everyone.

Intake Specialist

• Conducts 15–20 minute calls with incoming students.

• Explain the program and determine level placing of students.

• Collect basic information including name, birth year, country of origin, N-400 status, English level, email, phone number, and address.

Citizenship Teacher/Tutor

• Reviews and fortifies learned knowledge of 128 USCIS Questions. 

• Trained to administer mock interviews.

​

ESL Teacher/Partner

• Basic conversations that tie in civic concepts, daily life, etc.

• Reviews Reading, Writing, and N-400 sections of the test.  

• Trained to administer mock interviews.

Social Media Volunteer

• Engages users on Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn.  Helps with photography/videography needs.

​

Community Ambassador

• Build relationships with Libraries, Churches, Schools, Community centers, ESL programs.

• Connects individuals across the community to either our programs or to funding opportunities.
